For those of you who wanted more info about becoming an astronomy volunteer
here, there's finally info on our website:
http://www.azscience.org/join/planetvolunteers.pdf

In particular, we would like volunteers to usher (and if they would like,
eventually to learn) the planetarium shows, 1-2 times a month. If that
isn't your particular interest, though, we have other opportunities as well.

I should note in advance, based on one objection received, that all
volunteers who participate on a regular on-going basis will be asked to be
fingerprinted, due to the large number of children that visit here daily.
(All staff here are also required to be fingerprinted.) Volunteers that
participate on an extremely infrequent basis will not be required to be
fingerprinted.

We have some exciting projects coming up: a new show on Saturn and Cassini
starts very soon, a show and an exhibit on the International Space Station
will be coming this summer, and our astronomy classes and speakers are
on-going.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me off-line.
Thanks soooo much!
