After two shutouts, Jenn and saw it tonight with 10x30mm binos and a 70mm 
Pronto from Tempe Butte, slightly above the crud.

I guess it's a great comet for being magnitude -1.  It's not the comet's fault 
that it is so close to the sun.  Of course the ultimate arbiter to decide 
whether or not it's a great comet is John Bortle, so it's his call, really.
