Yes, Geocities has an "advertising driven" business model. I use a no-
longer available program called Popup Killer that has a special
feature specifically set up to defeat Geocities little box. I am
sure you could find a similar program as freeware on the net.

It is very annoying to get these. Is using geocities the cause of this?
