[AZ-Observing] Re: Saturn Tonight (1/20/2002)

It was the same from NE Phoenix. 190X with my 4" refractor
was about it.  Actually looked better at 154X.  It did look
good, however - moons, ring and planet shadows, Cassini
division, ... .  Jupiter is so-so.  Saturn always takes mag better
than Jupiter.  I did get a nice view earlier of the Lunar craters
in Feb S&T "Lunar Notebook" - Theophilus, Cyrillus and Catharina. - really a 
lot of detail in slumped terraces, ridges... .
It was probably better last night - lower incidence angle for the sun, but 
still good tonight.
