ArtWorks 2.6 will finally have an option to change the behaviour of
arrowheads: In Draw and in previous versions of ArtWorks, an arrowhead
(or a triangular line cap in Draw) is always drawn appended to the end
of its line making it difficult to point the arrowhead at a specific
position because you can only move the path anchor point around, but
not directly the tip of the arrowhead. This is particularly annoying
when drawing diagrams using a grid because only the path anchor point
is snapped to the grid and there is no way to make the tip of the
arrowhead snap.
ArtWorks 2.6 offers an option button in the arrowheads dialogue that
changes the way the arrowhead is displayed: With this option switched
on, the tip of the arrowhead coincides with the anchor point at the
stat/end of the line while the line segment carrying the arrowhead is
shortened accordingly to make space for the arrowhead. This makes it
trivial to line up the tip with other objects or snap it to the grid.
