Isn't that rather a trade-off?
Yes, but that's the way it appears. It just means that It wasn't
close to the actual (smoothness * fit) limit line before.
Of course it's still early days in seeing whether the resulting
profiles act/look any differently/better/worse than the ones
generated by the previous release.
