Well, there are two reasons I'm not using LProf:
* it crashes here currently on my Gutsy setup
* it's an interactive application, my targeted use case is an
automated/industrial system
I've just dug up a blog post I've seen at least a year ago looking for
something OpenCV related doing camera calibration. Thought I'd never need
that much as I'm more interested in colour than geometry. But it may just be
the way to approach my current problem:
