Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Dear Glenn,
Have now tried out practically every combination of Arachne configurations.
From what I have learned of these exercises is that I have to ask for dhcp in
order to get an reaction in my router modem program.
A connection is up to now still way of.
As an example of today I send you the log file of the router setup program.
My remarks starts with # .
As far as I can see it the Arachne box is offered a connection but does not
react as expected. There is no ACK (think means acknowledgment) following the
offer so no connection. have no idea what this program is waiting for.
Same box with Baslinux is connected within seconds.
Please have a look and if you have additional proposals, I will be glad to try
them out.

Arachne box is recognized, but an ACK is not send. There seems some
conversation been missing between Arachne and the modem router.
