Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Hi all,
David is right, you can s-u-b-s-c-r-i-b-e just by e-mail. This will allow
you to participate in any discussion, however I don't think this alone
will give you access to the file area, so it isn't your best option.
John Sparks : My vote is still for Option 2, for two reasons. Firstly,
it makes absolutely no sense running two lists with the same intent,
this just leads to "double posting" dilemmas (as we have witnessed).
Secondly, my quest for less traffic is not due to lack of interest, just
lack of time. So if I'm subscribed to a high traffic list, there is still a
strong compulsion to spend too much time on it, which means I
spend less time on other stuff that needs my attention. Best avoid
that pitfall by avoiding the high traffic in the first place ...
Joe.
