There seem to be about twice as many posts to coollist as there
are to freelists.
It's not going to wither of its own accord.

Is it really unnecessary? Can I reach all of our readers on
either one list or the other? I'm sure I don't know.
Inconsiderate? Well, maybe, if you consider trying to put
a problem in front of everyone to be inconsiderate.
After all, I suppose there could be someone who has unsubscribed
from one of the lists just so he/she doesn't have to read the
messages there.

There you go then. And does everyone here read the Coollist list?
I thought not. So to get a message to everyone, it has to be
posted to both.
I don't like duplicates any more than you do. but do you have a
better solution?
