Hi Greg,
I think that if you check... it does get saved into that 'folder'.
That's because the entire original message is moved to the new folder
and is renamed to have the .MES extension.
Linking to the message in the new dir will show that the attachment
is still there.
And has now been 'detached' again into either the cache dir
(if cache2temp No), or into %temp%\arachne.tmp\ (if cache2temp Yes)
IMO,
Chris had the right idea. (right click/F2).... but we need to tell new
users about this.
Perhaps I should update insight.exe so that this info will be printed
right next to the attachment.
(if it is a graphic file [GIF, JPG, BMP etc])
Right click on the graphic and then hit F2 to save it to your HDD
(it may be renamed as desired but must keep the same file extension)
[note: Since Arachne can not create a new directory, the directory
you choose must already exist]
__________
(if the file is not a graphic [TXT, ZIP, EXE etc])
Left click on the filename and then hit F2 to save it to your HDD
(it may be renamed as desired but must keep the same file extension)
[note: Since Arachne can not create a new directory, the directory
you choose must already exist]
____________
How's that sound ?
