I recall periods when the original arachne.cz list was unreliable and it
eventually became unusable due to unsubscibe failure and vulnerability to
spam. It took a while to get a replacement, during which time we were
off-air.

It is useful to have a back-up facility. We all seem to agree that several
lists are desirable. We already have two *and* have the insurance that if
one disappears (temporarily or permanently) the other won't be affected.
Lets keep both Freelists and Coollist.

We should agree proposed change of emphasis/use of the two lists with Mel
and Glenn. I vote for:

Coollist for Arachne off topic and backup

Freelist for Arachne general

2nd Freelist for Arachne developers (If traffic levels justify)

John
