Remark: Using windows on both machines... they see each other and networking is possible. Using one machine with DOS the other machine is not seen on the router, with or without Arachne.

1. There is a way to set up networking (so the machine has a "name" and the others can find it) in DOS, but it's been so long since I found the info (and the DOS machine is still down) I don't have any idea where I found it. Google <G>

2. Although the DOS machine could not network with the other two computers on the router, it had no problems working with the router to get/maintain clean internet connect & transfers. (At one point there was a W2K laptop, 2 XP desktops, and Arachne w/DOS using the router simultaneously. And yes, I have bunches switches for sharing both input and output devices.)
