That sounds like the old conversion limit bug, where the size of the
roura to convert all the images gets exceded. But that bug was about the
number of images, not the  size of them, so maybe not.

BTW I have a tentative fix for the old bug where, when replying
to an email, if you modify the fields at the top, then use the
external editor, when you return to Arachne, any previous changes
are retained. You can even go back and forth as many times as you
want and never loose anything.
