Hi Eric, et al.

To join Gregy's mailing list only, you can simply send a
blank e-mail to : arackne-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It's that simple! NO web browser is required (let alone JS).

OTOH, if you want to see all your options, please read :
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/groups/groups-19.html

Now, as for the web interface and the JS issue ...

NO, you don't need JS to join up via the web, nor to use the
optional web interface (provided you already have a Yahoo ID,
else you WILL need JS just one time - to acquire one).

If you are unable to access the web interface with Arachne,
it's probably because you need to add the "Https2Http Yes"
option in your 'arachne.cfg' file. JS isn't the problem. You also
need Arachne version 1.71 or greater (preferably 1.73J3 or
1.79 or greater).

Joe.

Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!

Trying to load groups.yahoo.com/group/arackne
screwed up my memory and my ISP connection.
My memory lost 80 bytes of conventional memory.
I will need to reboot to fix my memory!
