Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
Say Listers,
Wouldn't a prudent option for ANYONE having problems
posting to this or the other list be to :
1. Sign up for one of the many free email services offered
on the Internet...even Yahoo Mail works with Arachne now.
2. Use the free service to subscribe to the various lists.
Advantages are you now have a disposable email address
just in case you are super-paranoid of spammers obtaining
your address, AND, most email lists accept Internet email
addresses readily.
Disadvantages, possibly having to use web based interface
as in the case of Yahoo, or maybe Authenticated SMTP, which
Arachne once again now handles. Softhome should work now.
Ionmail is another free web based service. HotPop works quite
well...I have addresses at each of these.
