all Arachne releases are for 386+ w/copro
1.77;GPL,386+ stable for DOS

For the next few versions it was possible to make 'custom builds'
that would run on 8086 machines.
It is just not practical any longer to make any 8086 builds.
However, be that as it may. This statement from the v1.77 changes.txt
still does apply.

Compiled CORE.EXE for 386+ processors.
386+ will now be 'the standard' for this and all future releases.
(286- compile available upon request)
So, if you would like a 'custom build' for an 8086....
You have but to ask.
