Just now used Traceroute to find the IP address of my SMTP server.
http://www.fifi.org/services/traceroute
Traceroute gave me this IP address for smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
which I then used for outgoing SMTP mail..... 69.147.64.31
It worked perfectly, and here's the resulting SMTP.LOG ....
220 smtp122.sbc.mail.sp1.yahoo.com ESMTP
EHLO sbcglobal.net
250-smtp122.sbc.mail.sp1.yahoo.com
