Freedos hitting 1.0 combined with me getting a new computer inspired me
to install a dos again. The only problem so far is I can't figure out
how to get my ethernet card setup. It's been a couple years since I set
this up and then it was with ica cards and the setup didn't seem hard.
Now I have only pci cards and can't figure out how to install them. My
choices are: the built in ethernet jack, dlink dfe-tx+, and a madge
smart 16/4. I've googled but so far i've only found sites that talk
about install *.com driver files but the drivers for I have are *.dos.
Anyway, It's getting late and my brain is fried. Can someone point me
to a site that talks about installing the dlink dfe-tx+ drivers in
dos.? The docs included with the driver only talks about installing in
windows.
