Hello folks:

My ISP has recently started to auto-convert Joe da Silva's
base64 encoded messages to 8bit.  That is what the headers
stamped by "shentel.net" say.  My ISP is not supposed to
auto-convert base64 messages to 8bit.  A program on my local
computer is supposed to do that *after* I have downloaded the
messages and only during or after the moment when I open the
messages in question for reading.

When my ISP auto-converts the base64 messages to 8 bit they
become unreadable.

Are there other people here who are also experiencing a similar
problem with their ISP's in the case of messages posted to the
list by Joe da Silva?
