The problem there is that so many Alt+ and Ctrl+ keys are already used
as global hotkeys. True, those could be reasigned so that, say the Alt+?
was always a local hotkey, but for the moment we're using 'L' as the
trigger to indicate that the next letter key pressed is a LHK not a global
hotkey. Seems useful.
