That's probably it, your ISPs email server is actually hosted by
another service. When I'm using my SurfBest dialup, I don't see
any messages about a proxy. Back a couple of years ago, I
did have to use one of the free proxy servers to get WizLynx
to connect to the web, but that problem has since gone away.
SurfBest had done a server upgrade...a few emails later and
everything was working as it should.
