about that, but this might be informative!!!
OK...yeah, you can indeed just swap CORE.EXE from other 
releases...AS LONG AS the user keeps in mind that at about
version 1.77 or so is when some of the "support" files, especially
some of the AH files like TOOLBAR.AH were changed to 
TOOLBAR.CFG!!!  I use an OOK file to "swap cores" to use
various versions...if I try to swap the core from say 1.73 with
1.81, I get error messages about files not found, and it quits.
So, keep that in mind, and ALWAYS review the list of changed
files for each particular "version", as well as anything a test
version may require!
