                           Did test downloads of files with core-1,
core-2, and core0607.  See below....

core-1            load times:  linux....gif = 1.01
.                                             slck10....jpg = 1.22
                   
core-2            load times: linux....gif = 1.02
.                                            slck10....jpg = 1.22

core0607      load times: linux....gif = 1.01
.                                            slck10....jpg = 1.23
