I came back in Arachne where I left it... reading the mail and the
unchanged message is on the screen.

Pressed R for reload => new text made with external editor is included.

To add this comment: I pressed "Reply" and the added text got >'s at the
left side.

Can I go from within the internal editor of Arachne to an external one?
We will see what happens if I press Shift+F10 now...
Nothing...

So, I will leave this internal editor by saving this message to the
outbox and than change it with an external editor.

Save to OUTBOX

*****************************************
The file name has been changed to 08843826.tbs and I copied it with
Norton Commander to QEDIT, a popular external editor.

I am using it now and no problems are encountered...

Well, let me save this short message in QEDIT and try the WordStar editor
too.

Alt+F

**************************************** Shit, WordStar not on this com-
puter... well, I'll run it from a floppy.

This is a bit clumsy but does not pose any problems.

BTW: the Arachne hotkeys in the editor behave like the WordStar
hotkeys...

Save this file by ^K+D
Leave WordStar

*******************************************************************

Back again in the Arachne OUTBOX and adding a few last comments with the
Arachne internal editor => MODIFY

This mail is answered with 3 external editors and the Arachne internal
editor. No problems were encountered and no strange characters were
introduced at any stage of the processing.

And, as already stated... the internal editor is fine to me and very
usefull to change and compose HTML files within Arachne.

Regards, Bastiaan
