Don't they have the right to sell used copies of commercial software
that is no longer in use by the original purchaser? Like buying an
old version of Word Perfect at a yard sale? Seems harmless to me.
Some licences give you the right to resell if you stop using the
product yourself.
And then there is the "unsold stuff" sitting on shelves in backrooms
and warehouses. That could still be sold used and "as is".
The whole idea of DOS commercial software is pretty comical today
anyway. Although I'm sure there is lots of proprietary, special use
software still sold for DOS, there can't be much of a market (if any)
for old DOS versions of Word Perfect and Procomm.
