It's interesting that HP refuses to supply printer drivers for old versions
of Windows.
I have sent the HP repeated letters requesting DOS drivers for HP printers,
which he has pointedly refused to do. The intriguing thing is that there
is a great DOS shareware multi-printer driver that drives HP printers much
more flexibly than I would expect windows drivers to do.
Those DOS drivers work for ALL HP PRINTERS regardless of aged. I have only
used those shareware drivers on one other printer, where they also worked
very well.
