Hi Eric,

with "unconfirmed claims" I mean that you only tell me that *something*
did not work, but not *what*, so nobody can confirm this.

And I said I tried and did not miss any settings. And since you could
not describe what was "not entirely correct", I assume that you do not
know it yourself.

Oh, even though I am German, I understand enough of what you write,
trust me. But perhaps *you* did not understand *me*. ;-)

Okay, here it comes in simpler words:

I - installed - Arachne - over - existing - version - it - worked.
You - installed - Arachne - over - existing - version - it - didn't.

My - connection - info - didn't - change - yours - did.

So - I - think - I - did - it - right - you - did - it - wrong.

Understand? ;-)

Fun? I am not the one who uses <ggg> all the time; I only use ;-)
sometimes. ;-)

That is a normal machine nowadays, not comparable with those that
are being sold now. No double core, no 64-bit architecture, and clock
speed well below 4 GHz. I bought it two years ago, so it already has
become dated by now. It is only that people like you think it is too
powerful for DOS that makes it notable. I bet the machine you run your
Winslows on is also quite powerful. ;-)

Well, unless you want Arachne to be a web browser for machines of the
last millennium only, you'd better get used to people using high-powered
ones. :-)

Udo
