OK, Greg,

Well, _if_ you had installed Arachne 1.75 _after_ LSPPP 1.01,
you would have overwritten LSPPP 1.01 with version 0.75, which
doesn't work with your particular ISP. So when you said LSPPP
stopped working after installing Arachne 1.75, that seemed the
most likely explanation. If however you were careful enough to
prevent your LSPPP stuff from being overwritten, then there must
be other changes caused by the installation of Arachne 1.75 which
have stopped LSPPP from working ... in which case re-installing
LSPPPCFG might fix the problem.

The reason you had changed to LSPPP was for its automatic
DNS configuration feature, which is now less important as you
now only use one ISP. The other benefit of LSPPP over EPPPD
is that it uses less memory, which may or may not be important
in your case.
