That's odd. It looked to me as though LSPPP was the thing stopping me
from connecting. When I re-installed 1.75 and then went the long way
through to set it up, everything worked. Comparing the ARACHNE.CFG with
the 1.73 config, it looked to me as though LSPPP and the associated
changes were the only things different.

Someone recommended it to me, and I still have it on my hard disk. But I
don't use it as I find I need the multiple windows facility of QEDIT so
often.
