Hi Sam H.,
I am sure that your HANGUP.BAT
has solved your problem. I have to deal with the
same problem that you use your HANGUP.BAT
to solve. And BTW, thanks for the AT.zip....I already
grabbed it. However, Bastiaan has a different setup
from yours because he is using Ray Andrews CORE.EXE.
I helped him with the setup so I know he was using
LSPPP.EXE as part of his dialing setup. This was
the only way he could get connected with Ray's core.
Ray is using a different dialing setup from glennmcc.
The error message that Bastiaan got comes from
EPPPD.exe (LSPPP.exe gives a different error message.)
If the EPPPD setup is incomplete then EPPPD delivers
that message and doesn't dial, even if the modem is
initialized properly and perfectly functional. Bastiaan is
not having any problems running his other arachne
setup with the same modem...just Ray's core.
