The way the lines were coded was different from HTML, but it
appeared to me as though the effect would have been the same,
just a page of links.

Yeah, that's about what I would have expected from looking at
the content of the page.

If it had been coded as HTML, I would have expected Arachne to
have displayed it in much the same way.

I guess that is the basis of Glenn McCorkle's RSS converter.

Just as you would if it had all been an HTML page.
