There is some truth in these words. I think Ray's version of core.exe
has become more of a fork than a developer's experimental source tree.
And yes, IMO that is the biggest problem with it.
Ray, why do you not try to get at least some of the improvements back
into the official version of core.exe? Surely things like a smaller
memory footprint would benefit it as well.
Perhaps the version control interface that you and Igor work on would be
the way to achieve this. If you could split your work into small patches
that could be applied to the official sources, we could merge them with
Joe's version.
