Smooth is one thing, fast is another. Glenn and Clarence proved years
ago that Arachne was slower than Windows and other browsers due to the
inefficient nature of WATTCP, which was the only thing available when
Michael P put Arachne together.
Also we must remember that email attachments are always encoded as text
and that is something of a cumbersome process.
