I did some test again... must be my machine :-(

After three times crashing back to DOS there are 3 commands.com and
back in DOS the next message is shown:
"At least one DOS program is still running"

THen I type EXIT and windows is started again... just like I am running
DOS from the DOS box in windows.

************ More testing:
DOS => win =>crash back=> DOS no problems, except 10k of memory lost.
Now type EXIT in DOS mode => windows there again, but very quick :-)

So often changing between the two operating systems becomes very 
quick now.
