Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!

Joe,
I'll take this opportunity to point you and others to
a publicly available FTP site, with no limits as to
what you place for all to download and use...
it was made available by a member of the SurvPC group
that also hosts the SurvPC lifeRaft, located at
ftp.tmonroe.com/www
For this "public" access, login with user name
public
Then for the password, again, use
public

That's it! It works fine from Arachne, as well as Lynx,
FTP-Wiz, the FTP client in the NCSA Telnet package, as
well as the old WATTCP FTP client. I myself have placed
several files onto the server there. I thought I had
mentioned this to the various Arachne folks many many
months ago, but it is possible it was lost in the shuffle.
C U L8R!

ps...Yahoo Groups is not all that manageable from just DOS,
and there are many people that for one reason or another
just will not utilize anything Yahoo has to offer.
