Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!

Hi Group!
Well, I thought I might have found a host for a web page and download
site for Arachne GPL...http://www.250free.com, but, I'm not sure if
they would allow hosting software downloads.  According to the terms
they don't really want to, not on the free sites anyhow.  They offer
250 megabytes free, with some banner ads on the page.  Not sure how
large the banners are, but I doubt they would be too large.  I haven't
checked on the "Platinum" service, but this could be an option.  The
Platinum service doesn't require advertising, nor limits the types of
files you can have.  250 megs sounds like a reasonable amount to start
with, and the Platinum service gives you 500 megs.  So, how long would
250 megs of bandwidth last?  I would guess with the current package of
Arachne, it would be about 200 downloads.  250free.com also offers full
FTP access, as well as online page writing tools.
Maybe some of you folks should visit their web site and offer your
impressions?  I know I would appreciate it.  This or some service that
is similar sounds ideal for hosting our Arachne releases!
