Who was it wanted to register backmail? Perhaps you should pass the
above info on to him/her.
But the question arises: Does anyone respond to mail sent to that address?
Many registration addresses are PO box numbers so the author doesn't get
nuisance calls/visits from people who want to tell him how to improve
his product. Then 10 years or so down the track, when we turn up this
old shareware package and want to register, the current holder of that
PO box has no knowledge of the person we want.
Knowing an address is not sufficient. What we need is a CURRENT address.
