Having a problem with one of my XT's not trimming the thread. It is real bad
with caps..not trimming at all. With Flats it's not trimming over 50% OF THE
TIME.
Went into maintenence and did the trim test, so the mechanism is working.
Changed the blade.....
Checked and re-checked the Bobbin tension.....
Machine is only 4 months old and is under warranty, BUT AFTER 90 DAYS MELCO
SLAMS YOU For travel expenses. THAT"S NOT A WARRANTY IN MY BOOK!
Any ideas from you veterens out there on what this problem might be? I sure
would like to save the $200+ extortion fee for the Tech to travel here to fix
this thing.
