I met with this problem a few weeks ago.
It usually means that you have two programmes in your computer which are
conflicting in some way. If you have recently installed a new programme I
suggest that this many be the one that is causing the problem.
To cure this you will need to go into safe mode then go to the control
panel, add and remove programmes and take out your most recent
installation. After you have done this Windows will give you the option of
restarting your computer now or restarting manually later. Choose to
restart it now and it should, with any sort of luck restart in Windows XP
without any difficulty.
Try this and see what happens
Best of luck
Tony

Subject: [access-uk] at startup?
hi guys, any Ideas about this 1. When i startup the system, instead of
booting into Win xp home. It goes to an option list, including Normal
mode, and safe mode, ETC.
What is happening here?.
