I prefer the 8Gb version for specific reasons but I would, however, take
the approach of carrying a second battery.

Good point Steve, I have to say the n95 looks a very good phone but the
one thing that isn't so good is the short battery life, ok so that will
no doubt depend on how much you use stuff like bluetooth, gps etc but
it's still not great..still I am very interested in the phone itself so
this might just have to be part of the trade-off.

Hi Mervyn,
 
I agree with you, except that the battery life will probably be even
worse than the regular N95, because of its hard disk.  I think memory
cards still have the edge for that reason alone.

And the N95 8Gb version is even better! No micro SD cards to mess with,
just a PC connection.

I moved to a Nokia N95 a few weeks ago and it the best phone I've ever
had.
Really fast in operation even with Talks running, very clear speech,
uses micro SD cards so I can stick music and stuff on it, and all the
features in the world.
Shame its an expensive phone, but I cannot speak highly enough of it.

        Whilst querying my latest o2 bill last night I discovered I will
be out of contract as of the end of November and so it's that time again
to do some shopping around re phones & tariff's etc.  the Tariff side of
things I can look into myself but I was wondering if any of you good
folk could give any comments / recommendations on the latest Symbion
phones & talks vs smart phones with smart Hal.
         
        up until now I have had a Nokia with Talks and currently have an
N70.  I am after a phone that can do the usual e.g. call, mms, contacts,
bluetooht etc but I am also very interested in more business like
features such as push-to-email, gps etc - a bit like a Nokia version of
a Blackbury.
         
        Anyway I'm at the early stages right now but would appreciate
any of you giving me info on what you use and why you like it.  A list
of the current hadnsets that will take Talks would be useful too.
