Christopher,

I haven't had any responses regarding configuring access 2003 for better screen reader access. Mind you, no body has said that it can't be achieved, so we're in limbo land still. Other responses on other lists suggest oracle, or DB dialogue a database program from www.empowermentzone.com, a site run by Jamal Masuri. I don't no what btech requires you to do, in certain cases excel can act as a database, whether it is relational or not, I don't know. probably not. I reckon where that may fall down, is in the reporting function, which has always had accesss issues using any database program anyway. There's access 2k, which is somewhat accessible with JFW from version 3.7 and up. Bring back paradox and dos..smile.. or dbase..another smile. are you tired of smiling?

Best regards,

Joe
