I assume you mean deleting a file in the vault. If so this will delete the
file completely off your computer and it will no longer be a threat to you.
I don't know a way for automatically emptying the vault but I do a full set
of house-keeping each and every week and clearing the vault is part of that.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Subject: [access-uk] avg free edition query
Hi all
I have started using avg free edition and wonder if anyone has the
answer to the following.
While in the avg vault, if the delete key is pressed while on a file,
Does this do a permanent removal of the file form the hard drive, or does
it move the file somewhere?
How often do you empty the vault?
Is it possible to set up that the vault would be automatically emptied
say once week?
Regards,
Derek
