Hi Mark,

The trouble is every single e-mail I get says attachment but there is no
attachment, it just says that for every e-mail, even the mails from this
list, any personal e-mails, other e-mail lists that I know block attachments
and it just says attachment, that's why I thought I'd switched something
on.....

Mandy,

Outlook will block certain attachments that microsoft feel can harm your
computer.  I get around this by using with outlook 2000 a free download
called outlook attachment options.  Available from

http://www.slovaktech.com/attachmentoptions.htm

This installs another tab in the options dialogue window for attachments.
Within this new tab you can define what attachments outlook blocks, or more
usefully, does not block.  I just hit the move all button and have all and
any attachments allowed through.  You then rely on your antivirus to catch
anything nasty, of course, but that's fairly common sense anyway.

Hi Everyone,

Since yesterday my incoming e-mails have been saying attachment when there
aren't any, it's really irritating.  I'm using Outlook 200 with Windows XP.
Is there something I've turned on by mistake or something?
