Hi Christine

The overload of books and emails first. The question has to be what do you want
to do with them once they are there? As we are also talking emails here I would
assume a storage area. In that case look at the possibility of an external hard
drive. I've seen then as large as 250 gigs for under £100 so really is your
cheapest option. It becomes a new drive on your computer and to put something
on to it just highlight the file or folder and give the move instruction.

Music from CD's has been answered and I always use the CDex program Christopher
mentions. Tom Lorimer has a download for it in his Whitestick web site.

Emails are a little more complicated as they are a format all of their own. But
a small free program call OutlookExpressBackUp will sort that one out easily
for you.

Any more you would like to know maybe off list would be better to save clogging
it up.

Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

Hello all, I want to buy something to download my too many emails and my
books off my computer. Please can someone tell me what is the best thing to
buy? I have heard of the Book Currier, but I don't know if this is my only
option.

Also Is it difficult to do because I don't have any idea on how to download
one of my cd's to the computer either!

Is it also possible to just plug my daisy reader into it to get the
information to the device? Sorry if this sounds crazy, I honestly Don't have a
Clue.

Thanks again for your help folks and What a Wonderful place this group is.
How did I manage without it?

  Regards, Christine W in Fleetwood.
