[access-uk] Re: How we could pay less for the stuff

I would like to know how access companies come up with a price for service and
training. £400+ a day seems rather excessive. I also wonder if 'a day' is
actually 8 hours. When I first bought a computer six years ago I paid £500 for
two days set up and training with Jaws. The guy turned up at around ten
o'clock and left at around three o'clock. That's £50 an hour... and I was
obliged to give him lunch. At the time, this was considerably cheaper than
other companies too.
I understand that the training that these people undertake is expensive
although this guy told me that he taught himself Jaws by reading the help files.
