Thanks as ever George for explaining what's probably been happening
clearly...as I've said I've got Norton running and I update the definition
files regularly, I've also got Zonealarm firewall and both Adaware & spybot
oh yes and I'm set to do windows update automatically. I'll admit I've
never really got to grips with 'zonealarm but I nknow it's running and does
its job just wish I could refine it a bit more. Same with Spybot & Adaware,
do checks on a fairly regular basis but need to look further at getting them
both to run automatically in the background - perhaps others on the list
could give simple guidance on how to do this as for whatever reason I don't
find them easy to use with Jaws 5 despite having loaded appropriate scripts
etc.

Virus writers eh, some people just need to wake up and find something better
to do with t their time.

thanks again George and have no fear, I'm not afraid to ask for help from
others on the list, I'm the first one to admit that I have some knowledge of
these things but it's never enough and there's always someone out there with
more!
