[access-uk] Re: Invalid Product code

Mark,

Following Steve's post, just a further thought. Did you uninstall it from other machines. I think you're only given so many (one or two) installs and have to do this before you can put it onto another machine. Well, certainly that's the case with earlier versions of Office.

Hi Mark,

If you have another PC with it on, run Belarc Adviser on it, and then you
will get the key.

All the best

Steve

Steve, thanks.

I am not doing the install myself, but I have had three sighted folks try it on two separate machines and it still comes up with the invalid code error.

Hi Mark,

The only thing I can think of is that you must be getting a character in the
code wrong. The reason I say this, is that 2000 was never tied to the
Internet, in other words, the code is between you and the CD.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Invalid Product code

Hi all.

Trying to install my genuine version of Office 2000 Pro and it permanently
tells me the Product Code is invalid.

I have had this for some years now, and it has been installed successfully
on at least three different machines of mine in the past. I try it on two
different ones now and it will not install as it says the Product Code is
invalid. I am actually using office 2003 but want to install Access from
this disk.

Any suggestions how this may be remedied, please?
