[access-uk] Re: remove product activation of Jaws

Hi,

Sorry this is not correct.
The JAWS activation system does not restore a life back to the internet server
when you de-activate it. This is a common if understandable mis-conception.
Once you activate JAWS, your count goes down by one. There is no way to restore
that count short of asking FS to do so, or getting your dealer to ask them for
you.
This is a really simple process however and far more straight forward than the
old floppy authorisation was when it came to getting a replacement for a lost
token.

All the best,

Neil

  Hi Ali,

Either should be the same. If you remove an activation from the Internet,
then your count on the computer will increase by one. If you remove an
activation from your hard disk and put it on your auth disk, the effect is the
same.

    Hi.

No, as I understand it, provided you deactivate JAWS, you get the key back,
then when you reactivate, you should lose nothing.

Subject: [access-uk] remove product activation of Jaws

    Hi all,

I'm using windows xp pro OS, with Jaws 6.2, 7.0 and 7.10.417, the latest
version.

As I wrote ten days ago, I can not uninstall Jaws 6.2 version. Only this
version. I tried all the options, believe me and also used the instructions of
FS, by editing the registry, and still can not remove Jaws 6.2.
I decided to reformat my C: Drive only and to reinstall a fresh version of
win xp pro OS.
    My question:
If I use: "remove product activation" before I am doing this reformat, and
then Jaws will run as demo, in my pc.
Then, I reformat my C: drive to reinstall my fresh xp OS, and then, I
install Jaws again, do I lose one key for it, when I use the reactivation of
Jaws?
It's only done in my private xp pro machine.

    Thanks to any output here.
