Hi George,

I followed the instructions you had given, hoping that the problem would be solved, however, even though I can get new documents in Word XP to spell check in UK English, whenever I paste an e-mail into MS word, and spell check it, the dictionary used is US English rather than UK, even though I made certain that detect language was unchecked and also pressed OK after doing so.

This still happens even though I have restarted the PC once after the last message I sent on this thread.

Should I have done anything with the default button after making sure the detect language check box was unchecked? Alexander Shannon
